Authority to appropriate for, or carry out, several child nutrition programs and activities expires by the end of the 105th Congress. The major programs up for review are the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (the WIC program); the Summer Food Service program; and State Administrative Expense assistance.
