As ordered reported by the House Committee on Natural Resources on June 12, 2013

H.R. 1126 would authorize the Dwight D. Eisenhower Memorial Commission to select an alternative design for the memorial and would replace the members and staff of the commission. Based on information provided by the commission, CBO estimates that implementing the bill by developing a new design for the memorial would cost $17 million over the 2014-2018 period, assuming appropriation of the necessary amounts. Enacting H.R. 1126 would not affect direct spending or revenues; therefore, pay-as-you-go procedures do not apply.

H.R. 1126 contains no intergovernmental or private-sector mandates as defined in the Unfunded Mandates Reform Act (UMRA) and would not affect the budgets of state, local, or tribal governments.
