H.R. 3320, Securing the Homeland Security Supply Chain Act of 2019 (CBO Report for Congress)

Premium   Download PDF Now (1 page)
Congress 116th
Date Requested July 17, 2019
Requested By House Committee on Homeland Security
Date Sent Aug. 2, 2019
Description:
H.R. 3320 would authorize the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to take certain actions to improve the security of information and telecommunications systems acquired by the department. DHS is currently carrying out activities similar to those required by the bill and any new activities required under the legislation would not require substantial action by the department. Thus, CBO estimates that implementing the bill would not have a significant cost; any spending would be subject to the availability of appropriated funds.
