Summary:

Twenty-first Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) are after school, weekend, and summer programs that are set up by public schools or consortia of public schools. The Centers use public school buildings in rural and inner city communities to provide educational, recreational, cultural, health and social services to all community members. This report looks at issues likely to arise as reauthorization of the program is considered.
