Summary:

U.S. job "gains" and "losses" from trade with Mexico and Canada stem from changes in trade. Job gain data cover the North American Free Trade Agreement's (NAFTA's) first four years and job loss data cover NAFTA's first five and one-half years. Between January 1, 1994 and September 29, 1999, about 259,618 workers were certified as potentially suffering NAFTA-related job losses. These data are sorted by state.
