EY picks up John Lewis aide

Professional-services network Ernst & Young has paired booming revenue with a new hire from the Hill.

Brittany Hughes is now a legislative and regulatory supervising associate for the professional-services network. Earlier this fall, the accounting behemoth reported that it had brought in $37.2 billion in global revenue in its last financial year, reaching 4.1 percent growth in spite of the year's globally tanking economy.

Hughes had worked as deputy legislative director and counsel to Rep. John Lewis (D-Ga.) until the congressman's death in July. She holds a law degree from Pepperdine.
