Legislative assistant ducks away from the Hill to Aflac

Posted by Keturah Hetrick on Nov. 2, 2018

One aide has gotten a lot out of her time with Sen. David Perdue (R-Ga.) — three years of experience plus a husband. Now, she's moved on to the private sector.

Lindsey Robinson is now a federal relations representative at Aflac. The insurance company is on track to spend more than $6.6 million on federal lobbying this year.

Robinson had worked for Perdue since 2015, most recently as a legislative assistant. The former Lindsey Maxwell married Perdue's senior counsel, Drew Robinson, last year.
